Australia Awards Scholarships are granted for the duration required for individuals to complete their specified academic programs, including any necessary preparatory training. The benefits typically encompass:

  • Coverage of full tuition fees.
  • Provision of a single return economy class airfare to and from Australia, following the most direct route.
  • Establishment allowance, provided as a one-time payment to assist with accommodation, textbooks, and study materials.
  • The Contribution to Living Expenses (CLE) is distributed every two weeks to assist with essential living expenses, as determined by the department. Mandatory participation in the Introductory Academic Program (IAP) before formal academic studies commence, covering essential information on living and studying in Australia.
  • Provision of Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of the award, excluding pre-existing conditions.
  • Availability of Pre-course English (PCE) fees if deemed necessary for in-country and/or in-Australia training.
